The 1st Dambana is a collaborative multimedia installation featuring the personal stories of 5 Queer Filipinx people. I worked with Pinay Liminality Project, inviting interested Filipina/o/@-Americans to write and narrate love letters to their chosen ancestors. They sent their voices in to be a part of "New MestizX" a visual art exhibition that I curated.

I created matching illustrations that were displayed alongside audio recordings of narrated letters to chosen ancestors.
