This series of illustrations investigates mantra, a word or sound repeated to aid concentration in meditation, as a creative practice of self care. These 7 words, selected to correspond to energy centers in the body called chakras, are intended to evoke focus, inquiry, and movement across the body, mind, and energy field. Playful meditations on words of importance are a part of my creative healing process.
